Wheel bearing??

    I’ve never seen a hub bolt back out.
    I’ve heard that the lower ball joint bolts can back out.

    BTW, if you think the front bolts are low torque. Look up the spec for the rear bolts. It’s less the 30 ft/lb.

    Needless to say, mine are probably over torqued. I didn’t have a torque wrench handy when I did my rear axle seal. I just cranked them down tight and called it good?

    Mine are way tighter than that. Like are gun tight. :rofl:

    Bilstein 5100, Trail edition wheels, 265/70/17 Falkens
    Do both while you're at it. I was one of the people who just did one and sure enough three months later the roar was back. The other bearing needed replacement as well.

    What's interesting is that the 37 ft/lbs is even listed on this safety recall instruction sheet. Could they have listed the incorrect data on instructions to correct a safety issue? They even highlighted it in red as a component to replace.
