I believe in 2020 or 2021 it turned into black chrome. My 2018 had the silver chrome.

 

First time truck owner had an opportunity to pre-purchase a TRD Off-Road in MGM, on December 15th I received my truck and have not looked back.

I have always loved the aesthetics of the Taco and have definitely been bit by Taco Fever after several late evenings looking up everything I could often coming to TW for a wealth of information I am appreciative for.


Ironman 4x4 Foamcell Pro suspension kit installed and pre loaded to +2" from stock.


And a couple days ago I had 285/70/17 MT Baja Legends installed with ~2.9° caster adjustment on the lower and assuming with the built in +4° on the Ironman 4x4 UCA it is closer to 3.5° regardless it is pretty close to the stock cab mount at full lock forward on semi flat surface it is clearing about half an inch but will definitely have to some more plastic already flattened pinch weld out and applied 3m automotive seam sealer black generously, then molding fender liners inward and eventually to come a CMC.

They are very sightly noisier than the stock Wranglers but not bothersome for me. Thus far I have only driven them on packed gravel and rain which it had no problems at all, I initially bought them because they checked all the boxes plus they are a true 33.

Bought certified pre-owned Sep 2019 with 36k miles on it (lease return). Looks like my 100k limited warranty will expire next week!

 

I had a leased 2020 TRD OR 4Runner that I enjoyed driving at lot more.

2; OEM battery leaked at the caps and was replaced with a Toyota Truestart 84 month shortly after buying the truck. It's about due for another one now though.

 

Got my Alu-Cab Explorer canopy installed today, got everything wired up and can’t wait to put it to use this summer!

Just chiming in, mine is 19’ OR and it’s black.

 

My FN wheels came in. I'm always drawn to metallic blue. On silver Tacoma's they just look perfect. Don't get me wrong here volk racing te37xt are beautiful wheels but man something about blue, magnetic force brings me right back.

 

They do TE's in Mag Blue which is just like your FN lol. Truck does look good tho, and im bias but ADS + JBA is a sweet combo
