long story but I ended up with both the trd lift suspension kit (PTR1335210 for $330) and 5100s (24-263108 & 24-186728) at my door (thought I'd cancelled the bills after long wait and found trd susp kit on sale in interim). Now I guess I have to decide which to install - wondering if there are any actual tuning differences, anyone know? Included some comparison pics below if anyone is interested - appears tube/body a little longer for the bills, small difference in lower rod to tube junction, appears direct delete of lower 2 ring slots on the TRDs - others appear to align perfectly. so which would you go with and why? pics follow

lower mounts aligned - longer body on bills:

yah, that is my subjective impression as well - likely to use the real Bills unless there is an actual tuning difference to consider, which I doubt.

Just priced everything out at my local dealer on the online store. Total was $572. Good call on getting individual parts #s. Much cheaper for us who have the pro grille. Now I wonder what dealerships book time is to install and if they warranty it if its not purchased as a kit.

you really cant go wrong with either. TRD ones will probably be a better bet as far as resale value of the truck. Billsteins may be better if you plan to change springs for more lift later on.

My TRD parts are in Lift getting done tomorrow.

What are the prices you guys are paying for the dealer to install the lift?

In Delaware, when I was thinking about it...$780 labor...which was the least expensive I found. The next range was at $1K and $1200 for labor.

The kit is $1450 I believe.

I'm leaning against it for now.

I just had a dealer in Ames Iowa do the install. I think labor was $625 for just the kit install. (5 hours at $125) Roughly a $100 for alignment, and $300 for calibrating the Safety Sense.

Prices varied, from 2.2K to 4K here in Madison WI, I paid a little over 2.5K which also included a alignment.

I already had the pro grill and didn’t want dogs deleted so dealerships pieced the lift together $1,250 out the door included the $80 oil change for 30k service. I didn’t realize they were only free to 25k miles

Had the TRD lift kit installed a few weeks ago, I noticed a sound that resembles creaking (not high pitched enough to be a squeak) when I turn slowly or go over bumps at a lower speed. I hear it the most when backing up with the wheel turned. Anyone else have this experience?

Who did the install? I wonder if they loosened and re torqued the lower shock bolts while it was on the ground.

Figured I would ask here instead of a new thread. I took delivery of my 2022 TRD Off Road with the TRD lift installed in December 2021.
This weekend I went to an off road park and after a few minutes I thought it would be really nice to see what’s in front of me on the trail. I tried turning on the front facing camera, but couldn’t. Because I don’t have one.
I’ll post a picture but I thought this was my front facing camera. Is it just a sensor? I thought the TSS stuff was on the lower portion of the heritage grill behind the valance.
