Can't wait to see yours completed. @NastyBogging inspired me to build my Taco's. I'm surprised more aren't being built. Sorry I'm no help in what you're looking for tho. :hattip:

Here’s a little sneak peek. The model isn’t as detailed at the OP’s Tacoma but it was pretty cheap and I don’t mind doing a little sanding and cutting. Final body piece finished printing overnight and now it’s on to prep for fitment and assembly!

Looking good to me. Took me forever to get all the print lines out. Lol

I haven't done anything to the Tiny Taco in a while. I've been working on my 1:1. Just wrapping up a 2nd to 3rd gen conversion on it but I think it's time to get back into this build.

The last thing I was working on was modeling the pro style headlights.

Yeah that looks killer! The files for my Tacoma definitely aren’t as intricate hence my design of a TRD pro grille from scratch, but it’s good for a somewhat cheap DIY project. I need to figure out bumpers for it and rear shock mounts. Do you still have the files for the cantilever suspension? It looks like an old design that was removed from thingiverse, also if you have any other cool stl’s you’d be willing to share like bumpers that would be cool

I don't have the cantilever files, but Xtra Speed makes an aluminum sets from what I found on Google.
I might still have the files for the front bumper and the sliders saved to my fusion360 account. Idk if they will work for your build but If I can find them, I'll shoot you a pm.

Thanks, I’m also building on a TRX4 and I can modify the parts in solidworks if need be but not worrying about Rock sliders would be awesome.

Maybe I’ll remix them and add bumper mounts for the trx4

Not to highjack this thread but here's an update on my Tiny Taco build for anyone who cares :)

Since my first few posts I've done a ton. Reprinted the body to be 220mm wide instead of 190mm so it fits the chassis much better (standard width for 1/10 crawlers). All the sanding, bondo, and sanding is done. I printed inner fenders, cantilever rear suspension, custom front bumper and mount, custom magnetic body mounts, etc., drilled holes for the roof rack and bed rack and decided on 3.7" RC4wd KM3's. Currently working on cutting out windows and window inserts, trimming out the tail light area for some internal and external lenses, and making the tailgate functional. Once those parts are done it's ready for primer. Also just finished up windshield cowl I designed. Trying to decide if I want to use the purple hood scoop or not. The last large project for it is trying to make some headlights with the DRL strip like the real tacos. I have a plan for this, but we will see how it works out. It will also be getting a knight customs interior printed. My Taco won't look quite as scale as the MFab ones but this OP build is a big inspiration for mine. I'm very excited to get mine finished up, this thing has crazy flex compared to stock! Plenty of scale accessories and bed rack and roof rack are complete and ready to go on the truck once finished.

Looking good. He's also the one who inspired me. You should make a build thread for people to follow. I think mine covered about 2 years. Great way to interact with others. :hattip:

I actually just spent wayy too much time creating one on scale builders guild (big forum for scale rc stuff and big YouTube channel) here's the link: https://scalebuildersguild.com/forum/threads/1-10-3rd-gen-tacoma-trd-pro-build.32014/#post-327355

it's not as detailed as others but I'm 75% done with the build and made the thread retroactively so they get what they get hahaha
