Help Needed! Wiring xkglow running board lights

I need some help wiring my xkglow running board lights. I got everything wired correctly except the white courtesy light comes on with my headlights instead of the yellow running lights. I have evidently tapped into the wrong wire. The wiring instructions say to tap the yellow wire into the running lights. I figured the parking break lights would work for the running lights but evidently I tapped the wrong color. Could someone please tell me what color the parking light wire is behind the cubby on the left hand part of the dash? Or do i need to tap another wire for the running lights to work. I think i could just add a fuse to panel or tail and this would fix my problem am i correct?
