    IMO, you only need 2x security bolts at the front. Even if all the other bolts were removed you would have to bend the plate all the way down to the ground in order to even attempt to get at the cats and cut them out. That should be enough to encourage the thief to move on to an easier mark.
    Has this been trialed?

    Ordered my skid plate on Thursday, received it Friday by UPS. Now that is quick!! I’ll be installing it tomorrow. Heading to Houston next week and wanted some catalytic converter protection. My co-worker’s son was in Houston a few weeks ago in his Tacoma and his cats were stolen. Seems Tacomas are targets. Easy to get under and valuable cats.

    I've had my front RCI skid coated in the same grey Raptor liner and it's held up very well. Think the key is really scouring it with a heavy grit paper first, and also using the acid etch primer on the bare aluminum (front skid is also 1/4" aluminum). Nobody will ever really appreciate it under there, but the rubberized coating I think will hold up to road debris better than any other coating at least. The wings I just did in black enamel but think it all looks pretty sharp altogether. Seems to have changed, maybe muffled the sound of my running engine slightly, which I suppose makes sense thinking about it. Pleased with it, esp compared to other product's construction and cost. Good work man

    What I would suggest, is to look at the photos of our plates, the install guy, and your individual setup and see if you think it will work.

    That being said, all of our other plates seem to work with other brands so far, so this should be the same.

    Also, option three is we should be releasing our 4 runner plates soon, and that is a possibility.

    I've towed my trailer on two camping trips since I installed this. No noticeable difference in the trans temps on the ScanGuage II with it installed. I usually forget it's even there, but I worried frequently about those darn cats before it was installed. Thanks for making this available!

    We are in the Houston area, we just cant allow local pickup due to our HOA and Lease restrictions... Needless to say we have people watching us reporting our every move

    I had someone message me who lives one block away, and I had to tell him we have to ship it because I don't know if it is a true customer, or someone who is trying to snitch me out to the HOA.
