I have 18k on my 21SR. This is what I'm seeing on the leaf springs forward of the wheels. Am I looking at needing to replace them?

Edit: thinking, yup blown. Now what do I do?
Edit 2: It's riding at 21-21.5 inches center hub to fender when unloaded. Could be that the springs are just funky looking and have settled from stock 22in since I got it?

 yes, you need a new leaf springs.
What are putting in the bed or trails are you hitting that made that happen. They are not supposed to arch that way.

Legit have an almost empty bed and the worst I've been on is minimum maintenance roads. Part of why it was confusing to me.

And has had 3 Tacoma’s and a 4Runner and with a friend who spent $6k on Icon trash to have it fail repeatedly. Yes, and also has several Chevys. Icons failures are well documented on this site. Not sure how they are still in business.

Get some custom built Alcan rear leaf springs, had them on my first Gen, they're great, and still in business.

Guess I am not seeing the problem. Is your truck sitting at a weird angle, or really low? Tacoma springs are never heavily arched from the factory (helps with a smoother ride). Under normal circumstances they are pretty close to flat. That is just how they are designed. Folks seem to think that if you don't have a huge arch in there your springs are toast. Take some hub to fender measurements and compare it against other Tacomas

I don’t see any cracks. Your leaf pack is fine. The stock leaves normally go inverted. If you *want* to upgrade the leaf springs, maybe because your rear end is sagging or you wanna carry static loads in the bed, get a replacement leaf pack like the Icon RXT (great product, seems to be some misguided hate in this thread).

But the stock leaves having that shape is normal. Use this info to make an informed decision.

Wire is from half complete bed light job. Noticed the leaf springs while doing it and took the photos.

Thanks for that info. Asked a couple other places and most people said they were bad. I'll do a more thorough inspection later. Just wanted to get some ideas to get ahead of things

The Icon RXT leaf packs have held up well according to this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/icon-rxt-leaf-pack.505580/ Myself and another member in my local off-road club also run them with no issues.

I also have about 11 years of problem-free experience running Icon shocks and coilovers on two Tacomas with zero maintenance :notsure:

Get them replaced under warranty. Unless of course you have a front + rear suspension lift planned.

Yep time for a full suspension lift! Also, I hope that's not road salts/mag chloride under your truck...
