    Need to get my head examined. Wife and I went in to the Lego store to look around and I came out empty handed. I really wanted Ecto 1, but decided to budget for it and a few other small sets.

    All done. Took about 14-15 hours for this build. Had a blast putting it together and overall was really impressed with the detail and engineering. Easily over 100 gears to turn the tracks, blade, ripper, ladder...even the pistons in the engine move. By far the most complicated lego set I have ever done.

    I did find one mistake in the instructions that they used the wrong image for one of the gears, but I was able to figure out the problem and got it right before it got buried in inside under the cab.

    Here's some more detailed pics during the build, for those interested. Don't want to ruin it for anyone who may want to build this.

    the latch side should use a brick that's rounded on the inner corner so it clears the frame when swung. Opposite for hinge side.
