have been looking for a black console lid online to accent the interior from the tremendous amount of grey everywhere. i have a 2009 from lookinf at blue prints and diagrams online it looks like i can take the black lid from a 15 and mount it to the inner plastics of my 09. has anyone else ever tried this convewrsion?

secondary question before i change my clock led light ober from orange to white. Will a 2015 hazard/clock assemble mout into a 2009?

agreed the pics online of mounting positions all look very similar... from removing the 6 screws from inside to replace it. if no one knows ill order it and give it a go. yet if someone has tried and knows 100% it wont work then ill try a different route. maybe the stretch fabric cover for it.

Yes the lids are the same just changed color from stain magnet grey to sensible black, the clock from a 12+ will not fit without also swapping the entire center dash piece from a 12+ to include radio bezel and climate controls buy it can and has been done fairly popular mod, me personally I've always liked the low light vision preserving amber.

I just went to the junk yard and cut up some nice Mercedes seats for their leather and wrapped my center console arm wrest pads and door grabs.
