I'm in as well. I should probably give the truck a proper washing beforehand. I finally hosed off the mud in the fender wells ahead of the rain today.

I’ll see if everyone on our team is skipping bowling practice next Sunday. We bowl all day on Sunday. Our league had the Super Bowl off but we bowl on Easter!:notsure:

Bloody Mary’s and bowling on Sunday mornings!

Jack & cokes while bowling Sunday nights!

I hosed everything off after getting back from the trip. It was like a perfect combination of “first trip of the year” celebration washing, and a“hose off the salt” good riddance to winter event. I got every nook and cranny, sprayed tons of water the through the frame rails, and touched up my wool wax application from last year.

Gotta say, that snot held up pretty well! But it needed a bit of touch up. I used a brush to lay it on real thick on the forward face of the rear axle/diff, the lower shock bolts in the back, and the front of the LCAs. The woolwax thinned out or got stripped in those areas.

But otherwise, it was a beautiful, nasty looking, but completely rust free undercarriage. The closer it looks like the inside of a grease trap, the better. It’s like a well earned patina.

Got my ECGS bushing. Does this seem right? I kind of expected a seamless bushing. Does the clocking of that seam matter?

I don't recall a seam, but I did mine almost 2 years ago and things may have changed. Doubt it matters. Also makes sure the closed side is out (against the installation tool) when installing.

Seam is perfect normal. The ECGS bushing is really a standard industrial DU bushing pressed into a sleeve to adapt it to the bore of the diff. Clocking of the seam isn't critical as the support is there regardless. Like @jstemp said closed side faces out. I did put a bit of a bevel on the outside of the open side just to help get it started.

So, mall crawler show next Sunday. Who's in?

If anyone is interested, we could meet at the Kwik Trip in Kenosha at exit 347 around 8am and caravan down from there. I'll even take the tollway if everyone prefers. :D
