    Genius.
    But why stop with the cat? Part out the spare tire... tailgate... hood... power steering pump... passenger door... everything else you don't really "need". Each piece is cash in your pocket and makes your truck that much less appealing to theives.

    Don't worry about, people have been stealing catalytic converts since before my Tacoma was built. Toyota even put a converter on the truck that had to be replaced under warranty because it was prone to rust.
