I'm on and off on the drill press idea; most likely going bench top, but I have room for a stand-up setup.

    Here's the idea -

Is the 4-8 weeks ECGS? Can you send in a core upfront to jump the line?

"All send in differentials have priority compared to builds from our cores. We try to ship out send in differentials within 72 hours of receipt. This isn't always possible during our busy season, but we strive to ship within that time frame."

So I’ve noticed that I move my drill press around depending on the work. If I have a long or weird shaped item then I need extra space to work with. Not sure which way that would push you, but for my having it be tall with its own stand facilitates that. A tabletop one on a wheeled bench would function similarly I think.

    Thought about that...hmm.

But if I went bench top, the top of that workbench will be the tallest point and is plenty high.

But good point, something to think about for sure!
