Yeah they seem a bit high for bare metal. I’m guessing powder coating that much would be somewhere between 2-400$ no idea though

People with the pro tail lights - are you finding them off people via takeoffs or are you getting them from parts.toyota when they run sales?

Edit: seems like I found them from a dealership, $280 shipped for the pair. Seems like a good price.

Just got a new set of tires put on after my Wildpeaks lasted a solid 60,000 miles. Got the Falken Rubitreks this time around, same size, same specs, but they were $143/per which was a steal and so far definitely better for what I need.

Took the truck cap off and put the tonneau cover back on.

Cleaned the truck exterior for the first time in awhile too.

Installed LED headlights. Also darkened the grille emblem with some tinting film and really like the result. Had looked at a pro grille to get rid of the chrome logo but I'll be sticking with the TRD grill now that the shine has been knocked down.

Haven't really kept up with the miles to empty reading when I fill up (typically my screen is either on mpg or current track) but I generally get about 18.5-20.2 by the end of each tank.

Was throwing some rust converter on roof rack bolts and I figured I'd take a peek under the truck, good thing I did. Body mount chop welds had some surface rust. Didn't take a before pic, but check your BMCs!

Lots of dirt, the clean area is the BMC with the converter on it. I'll hit it with some Rust-Oleum black tomorrow. PXL_20220418_002001044.jpg

That's crazy. There's nothing in those things that justifies their price.

I am with you. Mine came off within 3 days. Kept the tires though. They are now in boxes in my garage storage.

Finally completed all of the front seat components. Just couldn’t fold up the original lower rear seat back material underneath the new cover very well. It was attached to a black plastic panel which appeared to be a little too wide to tuck under the cover, so I cut off about 2 inches off either end and then was able to shove it under.
Attaching the 4 lower flaps to the Velcro also gave me fits. Had to unbolt the seats and lean them forward to pull hard enough on the flaps, then hold my foot down on them one by one, then pull hard on the back panel to get them to reach. The headrests were easy compared to that procedure.
Anyway, all is done and I am happy with the new look.

    Hello,
Pretty new here, I like to read but don't post much.
Here is what I have done so far to my 2020 Tacoma Sport 2WD
Washed and put on a coat of nano protectant.
Updated all interior and license plate lights to LED
    WeatherTech floor mats
    Safety flashers in door jams
Black mat hood wrap ( to stop the glare)
    Center Console organizer drop-in.
Front bar light ( small but effective)
    Valley Tune
    Decked Drawer System
    Tinted Windows
    Removed vinyl between windows
    Remove bedside decals
    Blackout for logos

I went with HP3 for the map lights.

Wasn’t sure if the next level up would be too bright for my liking.
