SRS Airbag Light on...NEW 2018

I have a 2017 Tacoma sport and my airbag/pass seatbelt light is on and the dealer says I need a new SRS ECU!!!! $800 parts/labor and I’m pissed!! Any ideas for fixes??

 

Got a 2020 TRD OR 4x4 532 Mls and SRS light just went off by itself yesterday .. Took it to dealer and after 3 hours layer they tell me I have to go come back tomorrow for them to fully check.. Did not like the tone of the service guy asking me a few times "If I had done anything on the passenger side of the truck:. I told him no, as I have not, yet he asked me twice again.. Will take it tomorrow and advise outcome.. I'll mention issues reported on this thread maybe they can figure out.. Not the best dealer in the world but not many options around..

BTW, I hate it when someone works on the car and they leave the radio station on some Godforsaken salsa music.. Courtesy goes a long way, I think..

 

I have a 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport. 9,000 miles so far. The SRS light came on a couple of days ago when driving. I think I have to take to the dealer.
