Squeaky rear

    I think it’s mostly from dust. When I go camping, I travel for about an hour and a half on the FSRs and my truck is completely covered in that fine dust.

    I did clean them once and it helped but the noise came right back as soon as i hit the trails. I doesn’t bother anymore.

    Had the same problem pretty loud and squeaky going over even normal bumps. (OME Dakar HDs) Ended up power washing the leafs, using an air compressor to blow out the excess dirt once they dried and they sprayed PB Blaster Dry Lube W/ Teflon, wipe off the excess white. Havn't heard any noise since.

    I was thinking power washer also. I usually give my CJ a goo spray after I take it out.

    I tracked down a squeak on mine finally. I did new bushings, new pads, etc. but to no avail. I mean that helped, but I found that with my Deaver springs, the front mount on both sides was allowing the spring to make contact with the frame. This was because the leaf mounts eventually oval'd out after abuse. Once corrected, the squeak was gone.
