Does anyone have opinions on the Demon Shackle kit for a 2017 TRD Off-Road? Thanks to all

It’s the same for 2005 and up Tacomas I think. Personally, I had them and they looked like nipple rings. Also it’s held on by a single bolt and I wouldn’t pull too hard on it based on where it’s bolted on. They look cool though.

    Stock-ish
Personally I would never yank anyone out off of them.

    Lots of opinions.

I contacted the company and was told they were essentially for looks only:

"Thanks for reaching out, Its up to you if you decide to use them for recovery, Mainly they are for looks but are able to handle up to 8k before bending/ causing damage to the hooks. The mounting brackets however are able to handle the full amount of the vehicles weight ratings. so if you choose not to use the hooks you can pull them off and attach to the mounting bracket."

If you want a real recovery point get the ARB (I did) or get a good aftermarket bumper.
