    Long bed is the way. I had a helluva time finding mine and bought it the day I found it. Seems like there is 10 to 1 short bed to long bed ratio.

    I agree. They all have their place, I had a 1st gen shortbed, couldn't stand it. I like the roomier long bed and the looks of it on the Tacoma. I seriously thought about doing a long bed conversion on the 1st gen I had.
