I recently dinged my passenger side rear bumper guard which caused me to switch both rear guards out from chrome to black. I had a pretty easy time switching them out and securing them but I'm now noticing quite a bit of play on the bumper step which I don't think was present before. I did lift it up manually while it was still secured to slide the bumper guards under and in place and there are two busted clips as a result of the lift, however, I've zip-tied those areas tight again and I still have quite a bit of wiggling going on. I still can lift it up with my hands about 1/4 inch in most spots and feel it moving when stepping down on it. Wondering if this is my OCD or if I'm missing something here and should have a fully secure feeling bumper step? Any input would be appreciated.
