Tool flex? I've seen boring bars bell-mouth like that if they aren't running right.

I don’t think it was flex to be honest, boss said they have a new lathe operator and they just messed up I think and hoped it didn’t matter.

There is always some drinking water here + some flushing water, not very convenient to use however.
I heated some water on the range to shave and wash up with this morning.

I’ve done it a time or nine but it really didn’t matter, one was recently I drilled 300 holes in some round aluminum parts with the wrong drill bit, they were a little bigger cause I didn’t measure the drill bit when I got it out which I normally do. I haven’t told anybody, until now :anonymous:

When I mess something up I own it and show the boss, he’s good about not chewing me out.

Hauling lumber in a short bed has it's challenges!

Glad we got the 6' bed access cab now for lumber and mulch runs.

EDIT: Holy friggin large image, lets downsize that! o_O

I hauled mulch in the Duramax a few years ago, had to make 3 trips. When I got 5 yards last week, they charged me $35 to deliver it.

I refuse to get mulch delivered. I keep it in the bed and just drive around the yard where needed. No need to load it in a wheelbarrow and unload it.

Hmm, gotta rethink that one a little more with the new house. Can't drive around the back yard in one spot; I'd driving right over the septic tank field in one area. Well chit! :annoyed:

I don’t mind driving through the yard, won’t bother our septic tank either. Just easier to get it all here in one trip was all. I figured it would take us longer to spread it and didn’t want to fight the crowd going back on the holiday weekend

I haul way more lumber & etc. with the old daily van than the truck, it will take 4x8 sheets flat and shut the tailgate.
10' lumber or lengths of pipe can go between the front seats -- easily the most practical vehicle I have ever had.

I get that. You had help though, I'm a one man banjo on these kind of projects

The mulch yard is a short drive into town, so not too bad. No mulching is gonna happen this spring/summer though. Too much other crap to do and I got more chainsawing to overgrown shrubbery. Gotta break up the burn pile in smaller bits...

I used to haul mulch and the related "to save the delivery charge". As the years have gone by I have realized time (and energy) are more valuable than money sometimes. Older and smarter go together sometimes it seems.
