    Hello everybody,
Does anyone know any shop or brand that has or build something similar to gfc(go fast camper) or AT Overland?

I've not heard any Canadian companies making something of this sort. anything out there is usually a DIY job.

closest is https://setoverland.com/ which is just a flat bed conversion for the truck which you then can toss on any habitat box ontop of that.

Check out Yucca Pac Campers, made right here in Alberta. They're the only Canadian Made product. All others are imported.. At Summit Expedition Trucks we build canopies and eventually, one day, most likely next year, will we offer a canopy camper for our flatbeds.

I’m a fan of the Yucca PAC. I love that it’s a small business run by a guy committed to the outdoors community and that it is 100% Canadian made, with most of the work done right here in AB.

Hoping to have mine installed early in August. I’ll post pics…

    cheers

Dave is a good man and had been working his ass off to get these Yucca Pac Campers built. They are made in Alberta and support local businesses around Lacombe. Each new unit gets better and better. Check the Instagram and YouTube pages out for more information.

@acmcdonaldgp just saw your Yucca Pac on Instagram today. Looks great and it’s awesome you’re supporting a locally built wedge camper business.

@samkd seriously check out the Yucca Pac Camper. The lead time is WAY shorter than anything you can get out of the states and it’s Alberta built.

Can't say i'm a strong fan of the canopy design itself, however seeing how they utilize that space for a canopy bracket, it's a fairly solid spot. 8:50 mentions they plan to have that as a modular mount where all of their stuff will connect to it.

Actually, in the video he brought up "SMRT tent" which seems to be a wedge-style tent retailer.

Apparently based up in Edmonton. but the questions is, are they made in Canada?

Edit: looked into it; so far as i can tell it is a chinese made tent but liberty was taken to ensure good workmanship and pay. At least what i gathered about the American "our story" page.

A couple of upgrades in the last week…

The old man emu 2” lift with heavy leafs and new uca’s are underneath my 2018 Sport.

The Yucca Pac canopy tent is on top! You are right @Sna, Dave is always seeking to improve and as a small business owner he is open to new ideas and provides excellent customer service. I am waiting for our brackets to be powdercoated and after Dave ships them up and I will install our Quick Pitch 270 awning and update with some pics.

if you’re interested to see them in person, come to AOAE, the Alberta Outdoor Adventure Expo….Dave is an organizer, should have his rig with the prototype there, and we’ll have ours there as well.

Definitely get those pictures up once you get the awning mounted. I already have tickets for the AOAE and will be there as I missed it last year. I know Dave, have been camping with him and have seen his truck with the prototype. See you in a couple weeks!!
