Hey everyone. My name is George and I own a 2019 Tacoma TRD pro I love this machine everything about this truck is gold. But looks like gold is valuable to everybody Sunday night my truck was vandalized and they removed the wire harness for the back up camera. Take a look. I’m having a Hard time trying trying to get a hold of this piece online. Anyone knows what this is called thanks again.

Zup Skydvrr I thought for some reason I thought the deductible was gonna be more if I ran into the insurance but I’m not too sure first time that this has happened since I got the truck. But I’ll definitely look in to it. Thanks.

On this specific piece there is a 4 position connector and a 6. I’m not sure what the 2019 pro would have had. But you should have two ends right? Can you count the wires? If it’s just marrying things up, I could send a pair of pigtails but you probably want to document the number and colors of the wires.

I think this is the OEM part number 82182-04020 . I had to replace mine couple years back on a 2016.

 

OK, so first off, I don't have that OG plastic tree, right. So you're in zip tie territory on that, or you can try to hunt it down. I don't know the part number.

I do have some plastic trees which I can try to use but I don't think they will fit that hole properly, it looks big.

I have the same tree on my truck and the second spot I used for my tailgate lock.

Anyway, that's sort of secondary. Primary is for you to count the number of wires. I can't really tell if it's 4, 5 or 6. Also get the colors for me. Then I can color match with a pair of male and female connectors with enough wire to reach between the two broken spots.

You're going to have to open up the loom to strip the wires anyway so you may as well do that up front. Use a box cutter / razer blade to cut the tape but press super gently so that you can then open the split loom, get 2-3" of wire out, and take more detailed photos.

I'm assuming 6" of wire on each side of the connector, buying you 12" total of length which should be more than enough. Then you cut to fit, strip, use provided heat shrink butt connectors and you should be good to go.

But I want the colors man, we gotta match, otherwise it'll be super confusing.
