Hi guys. Im new to the forum. So i got a 2022 taco with a JBL system with navigation, and the factory sub in the back with the amp. My question is, what would i have to get to avoid cutting or splicing the factory wiring to run my sub and stereo amps? I have a LC2I pro, and from researching this forum, it appears i might need a pac amppro AP4-TY13 instead.... All i need is remote lead power for 2 amps, and speaker wiring for the stereo amp. Amps are both Kenwood, KAC8406 (Stereo) and 7205 (sub). For my subs, im planning on 2 10s in a taco specific double cab sub box that sits behind the rear seats. I pulled the panels off back there and saw the amp and subwoofer. I would like to run everything from those plugs back there if possible. Im not new to car audio as i have been doing multiple setups in a few vehicles i had in the past but this one is the most difficult ive had. Like i said, i rather have plug in harnesses that give me what i need rather than slicing into it on a brand new vehicle.

I have put in Racesport gen3 leds I'm the process of doing a custom audio overhaul which will include Hybrid audio unity 6x9 mid bass, unity 3 inch mid driver in the dash and fiberglassing tweets in pilar soundeading all the doors, floors, and headliner and I will be using a helix processor to retain the factory radio and as far as subs I might make custom brackets to move rear seat foward a few inches to get a full size sub in there or I might just go with a pair of jl tw5 or tw3 and it will all be powered by jl audio HD amps or I might try out the new hybrid amps
Your best option is the amppro

So you will have to relocate the factory amp somewhere else in the truck. The ap4 requires the factory amp to stay installed and plugged in

Well thats not going to work then.... I wont have any room at all and i dont see any harness that i could use to place it elsewhere.... Does the factory radio put out any audio at all?

You can extend the wires and move it under the seats and no the radio does. It out out a signal you can use if it’s something that you don’t think you can handle I’d recommend taking to a shop it’s not super hard but you need to get a little creative and extending the harnesses and finding a place to mount the amp you could probably put it in the same location you put your aftermarket amps

Sub amp will go on the sub box and the stereo amp running the speakers will be under the passenger seat after i get seat spacers since my amp is a bit tall for the space under there. I do plan on taking it to a shop but only after ive done enough to firgure out what all i need. I have plenty of wiring needed to install the whole thing, just trying to find the right stuff to get it to work. Edit: Ive done some more research. Which plug on the factory amp is the output? Ill retain it and extend the wires somehow. Is there a harness out there i can get to avoid splicing anything or do i have no choice?

Every connector must stay plugged in, which means every wire has to be extended. And unfortunately no, there is no ready-to-go harness for this.

What about this? I keep the JBL amp, but just cut the speaker wires after the amp and send that to my amp then send the output back to the wires i just cut and leave everything else intact? Would that work? I obviously would have to just mod my sub box a bit to make it work.... I rather not mess with an aftermarket headunit at all.... I do have the wiring diagram for just about everything on the truck thanks to this forum.... Obviously i would have the pacamp pro to get RCAs behind the factory headunit.... That to me would be the best budget-friendly option.

No i havent got it done yet. I have routed the RCAs and remote wires. I got sidetracked with other mods especially regearing my Tacoma and a new high output alternator. I actually planned on waiting until i got these mods done before audio.... Might be a few weeks yet before i make any more progress.... I know for sure that before i cut wires, il pull the speakers out of the door and check the wiring to see if the diagrams i have are indeed correct.
