Looks really good! I dont really think I'll put that in since I already put in the bed lights but one light is obscurred by my shovel on the rail so if I had a do-over I would have gone this route. Seeing at the cab end of the bed is nice

My mom had a local shop and install OEM style switches for her Rav4. If I go with heated seats, I'll probably do something similar. You can just buy a kit and put it under the cloth and do the wiring yourself as well. I'd probably get the ones from Clazzio since they let me check out with paying with ETH lol

Awesome thanks for the input. And the link to the other thread didn’t even see that one.

Anyone know if there's a discount code for users at TacomaMods? I want to get the knobs with the backlit and figured I'd ask first

Ordering the metal oil filter housing, filters, fumoto, and crush washers so I can change the oil when I got home for Memorial day (apartment life). Hoping the dealer tech won't notice the metal housing when I take it in for the 10K service. Anyone had any issues?

I am also to the point where I would just swap to the Baxter Performance spin on adapter.

I need a new battery hold down and yours looks great. However I have vent caps on my Interstate Battery. Could you measure the width of the center section for me so I would know if it could fit in between my vent caps? Thanks.

For me since I live in an apartment, I think having a spin on filter will benefit in less mess, and quicker oil changes combined with a Fumoto valve.

There are also people that say that since the adapter has an anti back drain valve system builds oil pressure quicker than the cartridge style filters. I don't have any proof of this, so don't shoot the messenger.

Too bad the conversion system costs so much. I changed the oil (49) times on my 2008 Taco but I refuse to mess with this system-type filter. The dealer now gets to get stuff all messy

I agree it is a little pricey, but it looks to be a really solid piece.

There's a purple spray that I get from our local NAPA auto that actually prevents any corrosion on the battery terminals. Best stuff ever! Those felt gaskets are a hit or miss.

Thx! I actually have some spray but couldn’t find it so I just soaked the felt with the “dielectric grease” that they came with. I also cleaned/scrubbed the terminals and the batt compartment with h20 and baking soda prior. And I do clean and check under the hood at least every month.

I was going to measure it with the OE batt before purchasing but I forgot…I think you’ll be able to squeeze it in there.

Sure! Here’s the measurement from the seller.

Make sure you get the 10” J bolts. You’ll need to cut the other one about over 2”.
