What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Picked up my fifth RPT1 from Discount Tire with tire mounted (their inventory was off and they didn’t have the last tire on hand on Monday) and had them swap it in for the spare. Any recommendations for securing the spare?

It's growing on me. Looks much better in person imo. Definitely going to have to trim more though, the wider offset is causing some rub. Not much left to trim, time to break out the hammer

Finally got around to change the transfer case and front diff fluid at 128,594

 

I just did mine at 150k (after exploding my rear diff!)

 

Received my bed mat.

I finally got my head unit installed in my truck. Crutchfield send me a bad wiring harness for it. The new one I got yesterday works perfect. I still need to figure out how to set everything up on this and finish wiring my camera but Androidauto and Bluetooth is so much nicer then using an AUX cord every time. Couple things I am bummed about though. The dash kit didn't fit the best. I had to Dremel down the area around the hazard switch so it didn't stick and hold the button in and the whole thing looks like its just a little to tight and doesn't want to be in there. Also the dash kit is a little fatter at the bottom and I now can not get my TechDeck reinstalled and lined up into the original holes I drilled into the side of the vent plastic. But I was planning on painting them so I guess now I will just have buy the black ones to replace and keep going on blacking out the interior that way. One thing always leads to another.

 

Nice mat! I got similar bed cover! Where do these drainage lines drain in your bed? Mine are draining right in the bed, not sure this is how it's supposed to be though, but I got my truck with it already installed.

 

Thanks! I've read that people with mats just tuck them under and let the water drain underneath, which keeps the stuff on top dry. So that's all I did . I've also seen people without the mat use some fittings that fit in the bed holes and also attach to the hoses -- try searching on here and you should find it.
