East Bay Mechanic Suggestion

newbie to the forum here. Also new to the Bay Area...

Just purchased a dreamy 2000 Tacoma PreRunner from an old friend who lived in SC.

Am Berkeley based and would love some east bay mechanic suggestions.

The Taco did come a decent lift kit + a set if BFG A/T tires. Previous owner gave me a rundown on most of the expected major mechanical issues. Looking for a decent mechanic to be my new go to as things come up.

Have seen a lot of recs for shops in Fremont/Hayward/Concord/Walnut creek

Any recs for berkeley/albany area, honest mechanics?

but also, ANY recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Now, I recognize this doesn’t address your exact request, but it can be a start. There are a lot of members here who would gladly lend a hand/tools to help out when it comes to most mechanical maintenance/upgrades. Happy hunting and welcome to The Bay Area.
