Now you offer a new statement, quite different than your original question. And that particular law makes some sense.

It's still not clear why anyone would buy a vehicle classed as certified with warning lights illuminated, which if we read this mess correctly, you chose to do. Regardless of what laws say or don't say. Maybe you suffer from the instant gratification gene?

It would appear that 1) you've lucked into a remedy, good for you and that 2) you need to learn to research before you buy stuff instead of after. It reduces buyer remorse and 3) you need to find a Chevy forum to share your woes with. Still not sure why you're here..........
