I searched using google and TW, but haven't found great quick and dirty guidance (that's what they all say). By all means, if you know of a thread, please paste it here. Otherwise, I'm looking for a hiline-like bumper that doesn't require as much trimming of the bumper.

I might settle on the hiline, but want to know if there are other good options, even if they require trimming. Hard to be a snowflake with my truck, but a different look is a bonus on top of the minimal trimming.

Winch mounts aren't a requirement because I do mild off roading in the PNW to find premo dispersed camping. Otherwise, occasional snow and a ton of rain.

There are a couple other good options on the market that we sell, as well as the Hiline bumper.

The DV8 one is a good option and cheaper. Also allows you to put a 20" single row light bar in the bull bar section:

The Southern Style Off Road bumper is another good option. A bit more pricey but you can add some extra options like their stage 2 kit for more clearance in front of the wheels if you want:

I appreciate it - all viable options. The DV8 filters only go up to 2019. Safe to assume it'll work for my 2021 pro, or do y'all have to say no because of the sensors? How much does that one weigh?

As for the SSO, does that have a lower profile than the Hiline? That would be the winner if it means no decrease in approach angle.

It should fit the newer models just fine. I plan on getting the SSO as it retains the factory fog lights for the full option and I like the winch opening option compared to the Hiline you will have to access the clutch from the hood.

No problem! The DV8 should fit since the 2021 is the same body style. I don't think it would mess with the sensors but I don't want to guarantee it. That one weighs about 95lb.

It should be the same profile as the Hiline but as said above, the SSO bumper does have a larger opening to use the winch but only if you don't add a light bar in that section.

Trimming on highline is piece of cake with dremel or multitool. Whole install is easy and not a whole lot is removed. Looks better in real life too.

I like the look. I’d love some objective feed back from folks who traded in their tacoma to Toyota with it on, and whether it hurt value. I don’t want to cut because of that, not because I’m intimidated by the task.
