Recently bough genesis offroads prewired blue sea 12v outlet, and wanted to wire it up the left side of the truck. Whats the best route to the battery? Couldn't really find a thread of where exactly to go. 2016 access cab.

I don’t recall the link but there are several good description of the run. Basically you follow the existing wire run through the existing gasket hole into the engine bay.

You mention left side of the truck, do you mean into the cab or into the box?

I believe you come up under the plate by the drivers door. Run up the wire chase though the cab and through the gasket into the engine bay. I would also have a breakout power distribution. I would also carry the negative back to the breakout.

I did some more searching and one person followed the brake lines. Either way put a breakout(fused) block so you can make future additions easily.

If you are going to the box, I ran my wiring along the frame. It was tight getting it above the fuel tank. I zip tied it to the factory harness along the way. Then up behind the left taillamp to where I mounted my power panel. I also made a support and mounted a fuse panel behind the factory relay box. When I ran my wires, I ran a bundle so I didn't have to do it again anytime soon. Just for future upgrades.
