I've been lurking here for quite some time, around 16 months or so. I enjoy reading, learning and peeping pictures of all these beautiful trucks. I saw my Tacoma at the dealer in early January 2020 and once I saw they color, I had to have it. I'll be honest, I thought about an Army Green Dodge Charger first but I'm more than happy with my decision to get the Taco instead.

January 11th, 2020, the day I picked it up...

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I've done a bunch of little/ cheap mods, with the wheels and tires being the best one to date. I do love how my truck looks, but I'm not thrilled with the reduced ride quality. The gas mileage loss, I expected. Since the wheels have been installed, the truck is "squirly", the ass end feels loose over bumps, especially while turning with any sort of speed. Also, the tires rub the control arm, only on the passenger side, when I turn to the left on an incline. I have noticed that if I go over a bump too fast, I'll hear a rub sound. This is my first truck, I came from the Jeep world (99 Wrangler TJ). I've seen too many "will it rub" posts here and I know they're annoying, but I do have questions, and ya'll have answers!

    Welcome to the family brother!

Color reminds me of the Warthog from Halo games.
