    Hey there all
Wondering if anyone knows if I can run connectors out of the OEM 4-prong AND 7-prong trailer wiring plugs at the same time and successfully get signals.
Yes I know I can test to find out and as far as application goes for those of you wondering I am wanting to run my regular 7-prong plug on my trailer at the same time as running a 4-prong trailer tow kit (extended load so using a temporary lighting kit because I am blocking my tail lights)

    Thanks in advance

I don't see why not. I'm using a pass-through harness on my trailer connector to power the brake and dome lights on my camper shell, and the trailer connector is still operational.

It depends on the total load you are putting on the 12V DC circuit versus the fuse value.

My guess is if you are just doubling the lights between the trailer and the light bar you are probably okay - especially if using LED lights.
