Tell them you are not having kids to save on costs instead, that should shut them up!

Mine didn't bother me about finances, but did about not having kids. They shut up after I told them our genes should not be passed on to any more generations as that is child abuse. They stopped.

 

I should just go steal one from my grandparents…

we build a reallly nice, big fire pit every spring but it always gets trashed by whoever camps there in the fall.

thinking about finding an old rim like you said, or some free bricks and picking up some cement

 

This was a hard one. My parents lament that they won't have grand children... but on a good year I'm barely financially solvent... can't imagine I could deal with the finances of raising children, much less those I don't want. Having kids isn't for everyone, certainly not for me, the world needs no more humans. Wanna be green, don't have kids, that saves on tons of future carbon and whatnot.

 

unfortunately bragging rights about success of the kids/grandkids are the only thing valued by the extended family on either side.

After generations of narcissism they just aren't capable of loving me for me.

 

Wrangling full body 2nd/3rd gens on 37-39s through trails rated 9/10 has a price lol

A friend is planning to stay in an Austin TX hotel. Rooms are $500 a night. Tesla vendors and businesses have increased the going price.

Yea my sister's are crapping kids out for them. I watch all the fighting for attention from the grandparents and stupidity going on and thank God I don't/can't have kids because I wouldn't be able to put up with that mess.

Also my wife and I are doing pretty damn well in a fairly cheap area and I still can't figure out how people afford kids.

 

What's the story behind the 3.4? That's the one that made me laugh the most.

 

it was attempting a huge 4ft wall climb and backfired then stopped running. sounded like it skipped time or something because it was firing out the intake and would only ever fire on one or two cyls and then die again.

 

I got lucky and my folks are a-okay with it. That was the part I was worried about tbh. They're very close with a goddaughter and one of my cousins kids though, so they can get a dose wheenever. On numerous occasions though they've even said, I couldn't be a full-time grandparent, haha.

It seems to exist solely to create contention. There's not a damn thing the average person can do except suffer by staying "up to date".
