My third gen has a very obnoxious squeaking coming from the engine bay whenever it's warm outside (65F+). It's persistent and gets louder with higher RPMs (gets almost silent if I lift my foot off the throttle). I'm assuming it's the motor fan, but I can't find a grease port on it anywhere. Is there a way to get this thing to shut up?

    Might be a belt?

I take it you mean clutch fan? Could be any one of the pulleys or maybe a belt. Throw some belt dressing in there an see if it stops.

Could be a tensioner bearing going out.

have you cleaned your engine bay? I had a squeak when it was dusty then went away after a good cleaning.

If you spray water on the belts and it stops squeaking it’s a belt, if not it’s likely a pulley or something low on fluid
