Just got a kayak. Should be delivered next friday. gonna first get it out and about probably saguaro to see what I really need for it. getting a dolley for it, ceiling mounted storage device, will get an anchor, but trying to decide what kind I should get.

Possibly a fish finder in the next month or two. Gonna be primarily a trout setup. with the maybe crappie trip to one of the bigger lakes.

Had a blast getting out to fish finally in this thing. They definitely advertise this kayak as one you could stand up and cast in, but I could barely stand up to pee. But this was the only fish I caught at knoll lake will my gf cleaned house and caught 5 12" beauties, but mine was 12.1"... I may have been in charge of measuring.

I know it is a late reply, but, San Juan Worms work pretty good depending on where you are trying to catch them.

Is anybody in here fly fishing? I have been trying to get to the rim creeks at least once a month.
