Had bilstein 5100s (set at 0") and OME 883s installed a couple years ago. The lift which is said to be around 1.25" is maybe just that now that it was settled. Since then I have had an AAL installed in the back (forgive my ignorance, I can't remember the exact lift it provides or make as I bought it used and was not specified. I think its around an inch or so and such I currently have a solid rake going on.

My question is - can one simply adjust the bilstein shock to 0.85 for a bit more lift (given this set up with the 883s?). How high would this have my front?

I wouldn't be doing the work anyhow so before I get the work done I want to know if this is something that has been done - alternatively whats the best way to get up closer to 2". Thanks yall

I say yes. I have 2885 springs and will be going up a notch on my 5100’s when I replace my upper BJ’s in a few months or so. I’ve had them for three years and they have sagged a bit.

is that to say the 2885 are comparable to the 883s?

I wonder what the best OME spring is and what the actual ride heights are.
And which goes best with icon RXT at option 2 in the rear

I have 887x in front with 5100 and I’m pretty sure there’s issues.
-too much lift, not enough downtravel
    -positive camber from lift
-harsh ride and knocking noise from bottoming out the shock and lack of downtravel

given that 886 is simply the heavier spring rate equivalent for steel bumpers

I’m thinking of swapping to 885
    883 may be too low
Not sure if they have an 884

would really suck to find out via trial and error. Swapping springs is laborious not to mention the financial loss of selling them. They always seem to only sell for half price used even in good condition

I would get a 6112 kit to solve this since they’re adjustable, a better shock, comes with a spring, etc
But nobody ever has them in stock.

They are different heights. I should add I have a second battery that adds some 40 lbs to the front end.

Here is some OME spring info:
    • OME 883: 375mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 884: 390mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 885: 395mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 886: 402mm in height 660 pound spring rate
    • OME 887: 400mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 888: 405mm in height 590 pound spring rate
