after all the years of smoking illegally, after all the years it took to get here legally, now? now you think this thing will go sour real quick???

 

not sure which part was twisted but I was federal LE for 3 of the 5 years I was active duty so Im pretty good at articulating a point.

local LE are already extremely undertrained in the use of force and deescalation. Something that could quite possibly have an ill effect on the performance in a high stress situation (wether they used off the clock or not) could have a major impact on how the situation was handled. I hope for mental health of the police it helps but theres still bad eggs out there that are going to use on duty and could get themselves or someone else hurt because of it.

You don't have to be under the influence for a drug/alcohol/subtance to affect a person's physical/mental/hormonal state.

were you also a doctor/psychiatrist for a few years?

Lol the only way for a drug to actively alter someones mental state to not be uptight would be to be on the drug since we are talking about uptight cops that could use a “chill pill” once the drugs affect wears off theres no longer a relaxing affect on said persons mental state

You should at least google the answer before acting like you have a clue. Go on WebMD and start reading about the affect of THC on the human body. You don't have to be high to be high. When I take my blood pressure medication, is my BP only under control when actively swallowing the pill? I also have friends who are ACTUAL federal law enforcement. Which, in your sense makes me federal LE.

 

Absolutely wrong. Microdosing Thc, cbd and dbd for example can regulate your production of dopamine even when not high and consumed periodically like nights and or days off.

 

Canabioids stay in your body longer than most narcotics/drugs/stimulants regardless of downer/upper effects.

 

your BP medicine releases into the body and stays for a certain amount of time which is why you have to take it more than once in your life…

i get what youre saying but microdosing can’t be done at work for a cop. Ive never felt chilled out after a high has worn off… back to my normal self after the fact

 

It's just an example....
Point is you can get high on your time off and still be a more chill person.... don't need to be high on the job to get the benefits....
And your experiences doesn't prove shit. Did you measure your serotonin, blood pressure, dopamine etc etc before or after you got high, before or after you felt the effects of being high?
