I'd hazard a guess excessive speed was involved in that one

 

Looks more to me like a lack of braking and/or steering.

 

@Nazupag524 can you snap a photo of the instrument cluster? It looks to be frozen at he RPM and Speed at the time of impact.

 

Cluster was showing 40mph. I’d guess at least double that.

 

If you zoom in on the car pic the tach looks like 5k

 

Getting around this at 4:30 in the morning was a total cluster fuck. I can't imagine how bad the traffic was after.

At this time still no traffic let through westbound Quincy. Only 2 lanes open each way north and south. City still can’t figure out why their traffic signals aren’t working.

 

They were having people drive through the Denver Mattress parking lot and it was a complete shit show, no way that would have worked once rush hour hit.

 

They’re still doing it for Quincy traffic

 

Traffic lights still out… I think the city guys blew their shit up.

I went kayak fishing there once and it sucked. Definitely not worth fishing there unless you have a real boat with a downrigger on it.

 

That giant funnel spillway is enough to keep me off that reservoir.
As a kid, decades ago, my parents would drive across that dam and I literally to this day have nightmares about getting sucked into that thing.
Totally irrational, I know.

 

Rant of the week:

-Don't leave guns/wallet/car keys in your car over night
-Honda CR-V's and Hyundai SanteFe's are highly targeted for catalytic converter theft, park them in your drive way if you have them
-LOCK. YOUR. FUCKING. CARS. regardless of where you park it... 7 cars on 1 street got trespassed, because people didn't lock them.
