    2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road
    Hello, new here,

I'm a new owner of a 2022 Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD. I have The double cab and 6' bed. I also have Predictor Steps (old guy). Because of the longer wheel base, and the steps, I want to do a full 2" lift (front and rear). I understand the front spacers themselves are only 1" to give the 2" lift. So, do I do diff drop or not? And, will this void factory warranty?

    Thanks in advance

Yes if needed to better align angles or remove vibrations.

OK. But are you suggesting just to do it, or wait to see how things go without doing the drop? I hate the fact that it seems the skip plate bracket, on the drivers side, needs to be modified (cut) to allow for the spacer on that side.

I look at things as they go. In my case the angle looked better with the wedge and I skipped the cut by using a small spacer. I think it was 8 mm. My last truck I did not use a spacer and developed a thrumming. I have 45k miles with no issues. So it has worked for me. Others may have more polarized options for which I don’t have direct experience.
