Mineral Spirits is fine on automotive paint. I wouldn't leave a puddle of it on your roof but when it comes to removing adhesive residue its pretty much the industry standard.

Would Mineral Spirits help remove the little black tar specs? My neighbor was trying to get some off his truck over the weekend but wasn't sure what to use. I know rubbing alcohol is good at removing stuff like that, but I have heard it can mess with your clear coat.

Lowering a X-Runner is totally acceptable. I'd love to have one in white white a front end swap

Mineral spirits would be my first step after washing the vehicle but you could try rubbing alcohol. I have found it to be a little more aggressive of a solvent than mineral spirits but it all really depends on the condition of the paint. Spot testing is never a bad idea if you are concerned.

Threw on some spyder headlights a few weeks back, much better output than my old headlights. Really like the led DRL strip, gives the truck a nice updated look. Overall very happy with them.

Filled up the Tacoma (our 1st gen). Before I filled up, I noticed the display and someone had a rough payout.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned WD-40. I debadged my 2016 and used WD-40 on a shop towel and it worked like a charm. Took off all the residue and did not have any effect on the paint. After all is removed just do a spot wash and wax on the debadged area.

Added mudflaps. Not sure if I like them so I’ll see if they last the spring. Put my bed rug in the back just to see fit. My shell is cancelled (looking for a single cab shell if anyone has one) and then I put the rug in there. 580BE0E9-212D-4821-8AEE-1EE7A801CE20.jpg

Aliexpress! Really! Did you order them last year and you're just getting them? I've always heard nightmare stories about them
