I'm in the process of planning out my bumper build and am sourcing materials. Next on the list is lengths of tubing for the grill guard & head light hoops.

What diameter tubing is typically used for these? I don't have a buddy with a comparable bumper to measure. Judging from pictures, it looks like 1-1/2" tube?

1.5” in my opinion is a little overkill for headlight loops and might look a little odd. I would probably use one inch for that. I used 2” on my “grill guard” it’s more of a short stocky nub off the top of my front plate. Kind of a tough question without seeing the design.

I've always used 1.75 on the whole thing. Think anything smaller for hoops would look odd, especially with how big Tacoma front ends are.

For the design, I'm building a True North Fab DIY kit, but making my own setup for the hoops to avoid the "angry eyebrows" look. Going more for the 90deg and 135deg angles of the ATH hoops to keep it more neutral looking.

I have two bending machines at my work, and we have 1", 1.5", and 2" dies. Pretty sure we don't have 1.75" dies.
