I pushed a bunch of sumac down with my 3240 loader where it leans over my mowing paths today prepping to brushhog. Drained the coolant in the 3205 hog tow GT and filled the rad with Thermo-Cure flush and RO water for summer. I hope it finishes taking the extensive scale out(it did 50% last summer) so I can change the radiator hoses and get the body back on it this fall.

My field grass is ~12" high right now. May need to hog in a couple weeks when it's 20+" high.

I ordered a suspension seat for my 3205 brushhog puller after driving it around my field yesterday to heat up the radiator. Reminded me of how the old seat springs bottomed out all last year while hoggin my rough fields. Killed my back.

Got it for $65 after applying my Amazon CC points. I cut a mounting board for it and will drill it out and then paint it with bedliner spray before mounting it then put the old seat on my 3225 to replace the cracked one.

The seat will get 1/2" carriage bolts up from the bottom of the board then the board will bolt thru the fender and into the framerails. The suspension seat base is narrower than the framerails on my tractor. This should end up being the same 9" cushion height as my old seat with toolbox base.

Started stripping the deck. I already replaced a couple idler pulleys. It was dumb to install them. At the time I was only going to re-bush the deck mount pin holes. You can see them in the bottom of the pic. They are pretty egg shaped.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with this deck except the 2 bad idlers and the egged out mount holes.

I started to clean it and get it ready to put it out to the road, but my OCD kicked in. Fuck.

The grease in these spindle bearings looks brand new! It looks like these spindles and blades were just replaced.

It's nice getting thrown a bone now and then.

    What an ordeal!

Changing a starter on a standby gennie should not take 3 hours!

I'm not gonna sugar coat it.

    This job was a cunt!

The back panel does not remove without taking the whole cabinet apart, yet that is where the wire harness and starter reside. In my opinion, Generac designed the cabinet backwards. The only thing needing access on the front is oil filter. Removing the front panel is overkill to replace the filter. The oil is removed with a oil vacuum via the dipstick.

If anyone considers a standby generator, consider building an elevated base. 3 hours bent over kinda sucks!

Now I need to repair some rodent damage and find how they got into the enclosure.

12 years, no issue with mice. This year they got in and made a hella mess of the control wiring. This caused the starter to burn out.

Going to use Steve's recipe and coat the inside with a thin coat of Fluid Film, then douse the shit out of it with powdered Cheyenne pepper!

That won't be today. Spent the last 3 hours bent over and on my knees. My back is fucked!

    Bwahaha!

I just looked at my pictures!

I test ran the thing on one cylinder!

I thought it looked like it was vibrating excessively!

I guess coffee break is over.

I saw it before it went pending, but couldn't get to it in time. It's been pending for a couple of days now, so I am keeping an eye on it incase the deal goes south.

I hate mice! They have been in 3 of my vehicles. Got into our Honda Pilot after it sitting all winter and it wasn’t blowing any air out of the vents. Started taking it apart and this was the blower motor.

Sorry about the back man. I sprayed fluid film on my garage door seal this past winter to keep it from sticking.

Like last year I had one incidence where snow melted off the vehicles and the water froze and lifted the seal a little bit. 10 mice got in last year and I caught them over a couple of weeks. None got in this year. I believe the fluid film repelled them.

Making bushings for the deck. The pipe cutter makes a nice, uniform score. I finish up the cut with the porta band.

    Bushings welded in.

Have to remove a 1/2" of torsion bar tube so it can fit in between my new bushings.

    Deck completely assembled.

The Cricut cut decal really ties the deck together.

That's a great idea using a pipe cutter to score the pipe for a straight cut, never seen that or thought about doing it. Thanks for sharing and it's looking good!!!
