Or take 30-45 minutes here and measure 18 times and cross my fingers! I could chuck it in the vise and try.

 

If you have a drill press it would be easy. Pilot drill a 1/8" piece rod centered on both pieces. I prob wouldnt try freehand...

 

The small black nut has threads on the inside, it threads onto the shaft from the weed eater

 

Cut the head off that bolt and thread it to match the black nut

 

needs a left hand threaded bolt

 

Left handed can be done

 

I bet those threads didn’t like it.

 

You'll want to make damn sure you don't have any runout.

 

Gonna need a left hand bolt and nut or the torque from the motor is going spin off the prop...then this ordeal becomes an anchor.

 

Double nut/jam nut?

 

They decided to keep her and readmitted her to the hospital... Apparently her vitals weren't where they like them so they're keeping her for observation. Guess we'll be maxing our out of pocket for sure.

Do they make those in left hand thread? The shaft on the trimmer head is left hand thread.

 

Another question, how do you measure thread pitch on the trimmer shaft?
