Nice. I would imagine native land based fame animals to be limited.

Are the wild bovine hunts a real thing? Seems like it would be a rush in the thick fauna.

Huh... I had no idea there were pheasant in Hawaii.
    Good dog.
Used to hunt ringneck with my dad in the northern Sacramento Valley years ago. Good times.

We have Axis Deer, Mouflon, Goats, pigs, quail(California, Japanese), pheasants, (green, blue, peacock, golden, kalij, silver), gray and black partridge, depending on which island you visit.
Fortunately on Oahu we have a fairly good game management program to maintain the local population of game birds.
This was my dogs first year actually hunting. She did fairly well. Glad she's not gun shy.
Next season is going to be my son's first year he can hunt. (He just passed the hunter's safety course:bananadance:)
Hunting with my son was the reason I sold my 2018 2wd Taco and got this 2021 4wd. Also the reason we got the GSP.
Now I need to find a nice 20 ga. for him, and hopefully make some great memories! I'm sure he won't think it's cool to hang out with dad much longer. (Girls will be on his mind LOL!)

Sound great! Lots of good times to be had. I've got two teenage kids myself. They do grow up fast.

    Cheers!
