Tacoma bed size

Is an SR5 and TRD Off road bed the same size? Looking at buying a topper but want to make sure it fits. Seller has a '16 SR5, I have a '21 Off Road. Thanks.

depends, are they both short bed, or both long bed? Other than that, yes same size with in the generations. There were some changes between 2nd and 3rd gen, but I believe that lengths stayed the same.

 

There is a 5 foot box and a 6 foot box.

The easiest way to tell is look at the side.


Short box (5 foot)


Long box (6 foot)


Also note, a 2nd gen topper will not fit properly at the tailgate. The tailgate has a different profile.
