I ordered the speakers from Crutchfield, pretty sure they included the wiring adaptors. Got some plastic interior tools from them too.

Crutchfield included all the wiring adaptors, so it should be an easy install. Just waiting on the tweeters from Amazon (should be here later today) and I can get it all installed after work tomorrow.

My tweeters showed up just before we were leaving for two hours. Pasco county you don't want to leave packages out for the world to see.

I got a package of blow-myself-to-hell yesterday. A pound of H4831SC powder I'm planning to use to work up a home-brewed load for the 6.5 CM. Ordinarily I wouldn't even think of using a powder there wasn't some sort of factory data on, but a: I'm working up the load using 130 gr bullets and there is factory data on it for 140 gr bullets so if I begin with that data, then more than likely the 130s won't build up as much chamber pressure as the heavier bullet, and b: it's a slow burning powder and I'll probably run out of case capacity before I blow up the rifle...I hope. All that said, I'm an experienced hand-loader and I know the signs to look for when approaching dangerously high pressure. The only reason I'm experimenting with it is that I have a 4 inch longer barrel than the standard factory test barrels used by the bullet and power manufacturers so I am hoping to maximize my muzzle velocity since I'm hoping to reach out to a mile with this rifle eventually.

Of course, this could always go horribly wrong and I could end up blowing myself to hell, but I gotta die of something and this seems like one of the better options, haha, going out doing something fun. Seriously though, I'm 99.9% confident I can do this safely. It may not give me satisfactory results, but I'll just be disappointed, not maimed.

I think you should mix some powders together to achieve on blowing yourself up

If that was the goal, that would certainly be a way to accomplish it, lol. But, no, that's something that goes way over the line of what chances I'm willing to take. Besides, it's already been tried by an idiot that was shooting a TC pistol on the bench next to mine about 20 years ago. All he managed to do was bounce a pencil of my scope and wound up with a bunch of small wood splinters in his arm. Could have been a lot worse, but everyone walked away. It was worse that there was a lady shooting an AR on the other side of me peppering the back of my neck with searing hot brass. Caused me to have a misfire when one got caught on the collar of my shirt against my skin. She did more damage to me than the exploding gun. It's also why even if I didn't handload my own ammo I would still run a brass catcher on my AR at the range.

I swapped the new tweeters out at lunch today. Just that makes a big improvement on sound. I decided to not do the other speakers yet, seeing how I have to take the door panels off I decided to order some sound deadening material and to do the doors when I have them apart. That should be here tomorrow.

Going over to pick up my wheels in the morning, oh course Fedex can't ever do anything right. My tires look to be stuck in Ocala when they should be delivered today. Most likely I'll have to drop the truck off on Monday to get the tpms moved to the new wheels and the tires mounted and balanced.

I should be able to do my small lift next month. Right now I'm leaning toward Fox 2.5's front and 2.0 reservoir's in the rear. With just enough lift upfront to level it out. This could all change by time I order them.

Let me know how you like the Ridge Graps. I still have a lot of deferred maintenance to do before I go tire shopping so you should be able to give me a pretty solid opinion by then.

My initial impression is positive, all on road though. They're smooth, track nicely and are just as quite as the stockers I took off.

I'll update this after I've lived with them for a while.
