Picture it. Spring 2020 a slightly younger Aqualoon was going to buy herself a new Army Green Tacoma for a self Christmas gift. Instead she found a used truck with 17k miles for only $36k and had to buy it but it was a blue truck, not green.

(sorry, had to do a Golden Girls reference, for some reason lately I've been thinking of random quotes from that show)

So yeah, couple times a month I'm looking at Auto Trader and local dealerships to see what they have in Army Green. Anyone else do this? Anyone who has experienced this, does the color envy ever go away? I love Cav Blue, just love Army Green more (Army Green FJ Cruisers ruined me forever).

    Yup! For your CB.

I ain't trading for color though. BR is still nice enough, and looking better with a hood swap and some OR envy. Hahaha!

The flares are screaming for some Derp.

I would then have to change the interior - did chrome delete in CB and did custom Katzkin to match the blue as well.

That is what the person that I swapped with said.:rofl:

I was indifferent, but over time esp after riding in some non-Skewp Tacos, I started to long for the Skewp-less life. A month in, I am still 100% happy.

Get in on the swap thread if you want one. Although, hits really started to fly in when I posted in the BR color thread.

AG is sweet. I occasionally wonder if I should have traded for the 2020 when it came out but it's hard to beat white on the Pro. I do dip into the AG thread every once and a while...

don't you just fight yourself? haha

I'm in it, couldn't wait to find one so I bought a hood with a scoop online and then had a local body shop paint match it. I would advise against this route unless you really really want it now because it's not cheap. I have cash back rewards on my CC so I get money from spending more of it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Some days.. I really like cement but wasn't available for the 16 model year.

Only really on days I wash my black truck then see all the dirt on it 12 hours later....

I think that everyone who lives in Pleasantville is envious of my Inferno Taco...

Why live life in black and white (and the shades of grey in-between...)

There are days when I do regret not grabbing the SSM Taco that was available when I was looking. Pinstripe hell here. Hahaha!

My wife has purchased three cars in the “wrong” color.
The first was she wanted a red Camry, bought tan. Then she wanted a red Sienna, bought white. Then she wanted a red RAV4, bought white. So for 23 years she’s been doing the “regret” thing.

As I am both happily married and kind to all women, I won’t point out the obvious solution for both of you.

I've been seeing a lot more Infernos lately. Such a good color, and stupid decision to kill it.
