New Taco Driver from Ontario, Canada

Good Evening All!!

My names Matthew and I'm a new Tacoma owner. Bought myself a 2017 TRD Off Road last week that had 36,000KM and was in overall great shape, except for a few scratched here and there which the previous owner touched up decently.

I've been looking at Tacomas now for about a year and finally made the purchase. I come from a family of truck drivers so I thought it was time to join in with my own mid-sized adventure seeker. Looking into getting into bushcrafting and modding, and also plan to take it on a hunting trip in the fall with my father.

So far the only "modding" I've done is replace the stock halogens with some nice LEDs (the indicators are NUTS) which I posted about under the lighting forum as I have some concerns about the conversion and some grinding that occurred on the headlight assemblies. I also upgraded the side mirror indicator lights as the stock were also super dull.

I have a few other things coming in like screen protectors and some blackout logo stickers, nothing major. First large purchase is going to be some rock sliders from the US as Canada has few options. Might also look into getting it tuned for a couple hundred, but that'll be later once I add some weight and start to notice the drag and gear finding.

Anyways, looking forward to becoming a member of the community and enjoying my new Tacoma; still thinking of a proper name for her.
