Gotta fit it somewhere - sleeping platform is the entire passenger side, rear driver side is needed for the doggo. It has to go under the platform, and even 20qt is pushing the size.

F40C4TMP Portable Refrigerator 20 Quart 12 Volt Freezer (-7.6℉~50℉) 18L Car Fridge With Compressor 110-240V AC For Camping, Truck, RV, Travel, Boat and Home Use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G132X2F?_encoding=UTF8

    (Just a quick search for a 20qt)

I figure my cooler is 26qt and I hardly ever fill it with food. It's just me and the dog. So, 20 without ice would be fine.

This one is 16 inches tall, I just don't know if it would be feasible to fit.

    Mobicool MCF32 - Compressor Cooler - 31 Liter & 41 can Capacity (Pepper) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08J8C8XGL?_encoding=UTF8

That's kind of part of it too is limited space because of my setup.

The 24qt from the first link may fit. I think mine is a 52qt.....and if I didn't drink so many diet cokes......it'd be way too much

Yeah - honestly 20 vs 24 is all a wash in my mind. I'm not going to get the 24 and think "I wish I went smaller and got the 20". Likewise I'm not going to get a 20 and think "I wish I had gotten the 24" instead of a 35 :D

It's gonna be food. I'm good with warm drinks.

Yeah that's why I was thinking a 20 would be fine. 26 now half is ice and I have PLENTY of room for my food needs.

Yea I was in the ice is just as good camp until I used a fridge and it kept my pre cooked meals frozen the entire two weeks I was on the road. Trucked charged the jackery during the day, jackery powered fridge at night. Cool setup, didn’t have to mess with it at all

I figure full time on solar to a second battery. Being under the sleeping platform too it'd be a pain to do every morning and night. For about the same cost just full time power.

My longest trip planned this year is only 3 days between ice stops, every other one is like 12 hours between haha

Mines in the bed like PP stated. It’s been fine. I’m running off one battery right now. I might go dual at some point but, other than fridge I’m not running much more and I’m never in one place more than a couple of days.

You guys straight mounting your panels to your roof racks or what? I've got a 100w panel with a charge controller and a not super great battery to get started with. Still need to get an inverter to go with it, too.

I'd love to see some pics of how you have these things setup.

I've never had an issue with just the alternator charging it up.

No solar yet for me. Maybe down the road. Right now I’m running off of one battery.

Thats what I was talking about it!!! Most of the stories I’ve heard, people call it dogman. Compared to bigfoot or other paranormal stuff, there’s SO many more stories about this creature in Kentucky going back to the 1800s. I will never go back to the KAT alone. I’m camping right in the middle of the group next to the fire. Y’all can have the outskirts lol
