Are the CSO19R Dakars designed for a 2003 Tacoma 4x4?

 

Nope, the 019 are for 95.5-97 tacomas.

for the 03 you want the EL122 type. Which are the updated type to the old CS 046

Yeah thats for 95.5-97. I have the cs018r which is for the 95.5-97 reg cab taco. Settled it in without the aal and I removed another leaf aswell. These leaf packs can handle A LOT of weight. I didnt want to wait but I couldve gone with deavers.

 

With the weather that far north, those look minty fresh for their age

 

The previous owner said they were on his 2002 double cab!

FYI-
Fitment:

• '89 - '95 Toyota Pickup - Provides approximately 2" of lift
• '95.5-'97 Tacoma Xtra Cab and Double Cab models - (6 lug) - Provides approximately 3- 3.5" of lift (Not recommended for single cab models)
• Will not fit T100

 

I have kings up front bilseteins on the rear,
The kings raise the front 2” so I want 2” in the back, no more,
I guess I will have to remove one leaf,
I’m looking at the 500 pound setup =5 leaf’s I think not the 750 pack that 7 leaf’s I believe.

not sure why not recommended for single cab that was a quote from toytec data. I looked for a data sheet on these but found none.

I originally wanted a 2in lift but I needed new leafs as my driver side was broken and I needed them now (at time of build) due to truck replacing my daily driver.
The add a leaf was out the window and OME are installed.
These worked great as I load her down w/ my tools she rides level w/ my 2 and 3/4 lift in the front. Added in some 2.5 degree spacers under the leaf and smooth driving w/ very low to no vibrations.
I think I should have gone with a 3 degree shim so I dropped the center carrier bearing by about 3 US quarters.
I didn't want to touch this as it would change the angle from the transfer case to the center shaft but I did.
I am not a pro by any means but I'm not a parts replacer either.
