Anyone one here or know if I can change the spring on my vertex? Because I have a high clearance heavy bumper and a winch my truck went from original 3.5" to 2.75" lift. I was thinking about change the sprung to heavy duty like a 700bls spring. What spring would fit and work with my shocks???

I did and I even use 1inch spacer. I called RC and told them my measurement they said I lost 2" even after adding the spacer and adjusting the coils

You’re making me worry about my steel bumper and with these coilovers. Won’t be running a winch though.

Are you running 285/75/17 with the RC 3.5 vertex?

I’m guessing the RC 3.5 vertex is no good? Why the change?

I love it it works good specially off roading. The only problem is the coils that it has now is rated to 600lbs with the metal bumper and a winch it can't handle all the weight. Instead of having a 3.5" lift I went down to 2" lift. I had to adjust the coilovers and ad 1" spacers to get back to 3"

You’re making me doubt my set of coil overs in box lol. I’ll have a hybrid steel bumper, won’t be running a winch though and yes it’s mainly a street queen lol!

You adjusted your front coliovers the wrong way. More thread more lift your maxed out with no adjustment left. Your only getting the min height. If you adjust them the other way you will gain 1 1/2 possibly 2 inches. I have a v Jay bumper that weighs 155 pounds and winch is a badlands 12000 pound somewhere around 55 to 70 pounds. I have no issues I adjusted mine for a little more height but didn't max them out still have room to go up another 1/2 to inch. Press the spring raises the height un pressing the spring lowers heights case your not seeing that
