I retired at the end of 2019 and planned on loading up the truck and heading out in the spring but Covid and aging parents changed those plans. This year I plan on putting some miles on finally, heading out west to visit some friends in a few weeks!

Congrats. What's next? Wood working, or sitting on the porch yelling at people to stay off the grass while you sip bourbon?

Thanks for all the well wishes and comments!
My decision was made at the point where my Pensions: Navy, Current Employer Pension and Social Security equaled what I was making while working. At 67 the balance point has shifted and I'm ready.

I'm at work now and I don't plan on doing a bunch before I walk out in the morning. :D

With all the free time you’ll have, you should do a 4.0 engine swap. :anonymous:

My father did the same at 53, saw they'd buy him out for what he'd need to work 12 more years for. Took it, got another job, retired 2 years ago at 70 with 2 pensions.
